Tyron Woodley though he had a clear cut victory after going five rounds with Stephen Thompson in the co-main event of last night’s (Sat., Nov. 12, 2016) UFC 205 pay-per-view (PPV) event in New York, New York (highlights); but after a confusing couple of minutes; it was revealed that he didn’t.
After Bruce Buffer originally announced a unanimous decision win for “The Chosen One,” the longtime ring announcer has a brief discussion with the Octagon-side judges before he hopped on the mic and changed the decision to a majority draw, as evident by officials scorecard via MMA Weekly.

While Woodley kept his title, it wasn’t exactly the way he wanted to do it. As a result, it seems a rematch between the two men will likely be on the horizon. Something company president Dana White declared wouldn’t be a bad idea given the outcome.
