Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) returns to the pay-per-view (PPV) market this Saturday night (Nov. 12, 2016) for what could be the greatest mixed martial arts (MMA) fight card of all time. UFC 205: “Alvarez vs. McGregor” will feature three championship title fights, including the lightweight championship main event, where Eddie Alvarez will have five rounds to defend his 155-pound strap from current featherweight kingpin Conor McGregor.
In the UFC 205 co-main event, also scheduled for five rounds, UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley will make his first-ever title defense against skilled striker and 170-pound No. 1 contender Stephen Thompson. In addition, UFC women’s strawweight champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk gives 25 minutes to 115-pound adversary Karolina Kowalkiewicz, who like the aforementioned champion, has been perfect throughout her combat sports career.
MMAmania.com will deliver LIVE round-by-round, blow-by-blow coverage of the entire UFC 205 fight card below, starting with the Fight Pass “Prelims” matches online, which are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m. ET, and then the remaining undercard balance on FOX Sports 1 at 8 p.m. ET, before the PPV main card start time at 10 p.m. ET.
