UFC 205’s Conor McGregor rolls into New York City in custom-painted Rolls-Royce Ghost – ‘I am the King of everything’

Every “king” requires a royal chariot, so it’s no surprise that Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Featherweight champion, Conor McGregor, has rolled into New York City this weekend in a modern-day equivalent, a 2016 Rolls Royce “Ghost,” which reportedly retails for about $350,000.

“The 2016 Rolls-Royce Ghost is audacious in its opulence, but responsive on the road — just what the leaders of the world demand,” is how CarConnection.com described the luxury vehicle, which was the marketing mastermind of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars North America in Woodcliff Lake, N.J., a “Big Apple” suburb.

It even came with a pretty ridiulous “Notorious”-inspired paint job to promote the Irishman’s upcoming history-making attempt to become the mixed martial arts (MMA) promotion’s first-ever simultaneous dual weight class champion. Check it out:

McGregor, of course, accepted the donation with the utmost humility.

He may or may not to take it with him after his fight with Eddie Alvarez inside Madison Square Garden concludes, with ESPN’s Darren Rovell indicating that it’s a very expensive loaner that he’ll probably never drive, anyway. That’s because he won’t be tearing up the streets of Bergen County in the next few days … and he might not have it transported to his adopted home in the United States.

Regardless, it’s a very cool idea and an awesome ride. And who knows, some obsessed UFC fan with cash to burn might just have to add it to their collection.
