UFC 207 free full fight video: Amanda Nunes vs. Miesha Tate

Before Amanda Nunes fights Ronda Rousey in the UFC 207 main event, check out Nunes capturing the UFC women’s bantamweight title at UFC 200.

The UFC women’s bantamweight division has been just a rotation of new champions since Holly Holm KO’d Ronda Rousey at UFC 193. Holm’s first title defense ended in a dramatic submission loss to Miesha Tate. The joy of Tate’s incredible 5th round win was soon erased by Amanda Nunes completely dominating her in the UFC 200 main event, which she won by rear-naked choke. Now we’ll see Nunes finish 2016 with a title defense against Rousey, who had otherwise ruled the Strikeforce and UFC women’s 135 lbs divisions for years up until the Holm loss.

Today’s UFC free fight video will be Nunes’ win over Tate back in July. You can watch the video at the top of the page. Here’s how Dallas Winston described the fight in his play-by-play.

R1: Hard snapping jab lands for Nunes. Nunes catches Tate with a glancing counter right. Tate steps in to jam an incoming right hand and hits a takedown, but Nunes pops back up and separates immediately. Nunes shoves Tate away after another clinch attempt, then stings her with a pair of jabs and a right cross that buckles her legs.

Tate throws a sloppy left hook and stays hunched over, and Nunes clubs her with a hard left hook. More explosive punches from Nunes and Tate is a bloody, staggering mess. Nunes pours it on and Tate holds her ground and covers up but gets knocked off-balance by a thunderous right hand. Nunes pounces on her and moves to back control, wrenching an over-the-chin neck crank that Tate quickly taps to. It’s announced as a rear-naked choke win.

Amanda Nunes defeats Miesha Tate by submission (rear-naked choke) R1 3:16
