UFC 207 free full fight video: Cody Garbrandt vs. Takeya Mizugaki

Before Cody Garbrandt challenges Dominick Cruz for the UFC bantamweight belt, watch Garbrandt’s quick KO of Takeya Mizugaki.

It’s Christmas Day (don’t worry, I didn’t write this up today), and what better way to enjoy the holiday than revisit a pretty fast knockout? That’s right, UFC 207 is just a few days away, and in the night’s co-main event, bantamweight KO artist Cody Garbrandt will be taking on champion Dominick Cruz for his title. Garbrandt is a perfect 10-0 in his young MMA career, with 9 of his wins coming by KO or TKO, including the aforementioned 48-second mauling of Takeya Mizugaki at UFC 202 in August.

You can watch the full video at the top of the page. Here is Dallas Winston’s play-by-play of the entire fight:

R1: Mizugaki opens with a clean outside low kick. And another. Garbrandt steps back and peels off a tight flurry with both hands, stunning Mizugaki. They reset and Garbrandt drills Mizugaki with a step-in right, dropping him. Garbrandt follows him down, flurrying with left hands to the head until the ref jumps in.

Cody Garbrandt defeats Takeya Mizugaki by TKO (punches) R1 0:48

And here’s how the Bloody Elbow community reacted to the finish:

UFC 207 takes place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday, December 30th. While Cruz vs. Garbrandt will serve as the co-main event, the main event is the women’s bantamweight title fight, as champion Amanda Nunes takes on former champion Ronda Rousey.
