Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) women’s bantamweight titleholder Ronda Rousey is making her return to the Ellen Degeneres daytime talk show next Tuesday (Nov. 1, 2016) on NBC.
Safe to say it will be a much different conversation than last time.
That’s because “Rowdy” was coming off her stunning knockout loss to Holly Holm at UFC 193 last November, and set the social media world on fire when she revealed thoughts of suicide.
But now she’s back and in a much better place, both personally and professionally.
From EllenTV.com (via Champions.co):
“Her bold moves, empowering attitude and impressive feats of strength define her as one of the best female MMA fighters in the world. RONDA ROUSEY joins Ellen today! Ronda is here to discuss her long-awaited return to the Ultimate Fighting Championship at UFC 207. She may even take Andy down again. You won’t want to miss it!”
Joining her will be actor Jake Gyllenhaal.
Rousey will make her long awaited return to the Octagon when she tangles with newly-minted 135-pound queenpin Amanda Nunes in the UFC 207 pay-per-view (PPV) main event, which takes place Dec. 30, 2016 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
