Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz will defend his 135-pound title against undefeated power puncher Cody Garbrandt in the UFC 207 pay-per-view (PPV) co-main event, locked and loaded for Dec. 30, 2016 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
But it may not result in the lopsided win many “Dominator” fans are expecting.
That’s according to the rapidly shrinking betting line, which opened at -225 for the reigning champion, but has since been whittled down to -190, according to our fiscal friends at Best Fight Odds.
Garbrandt is currently the +160 underdog.
Cruz (22-1) returned from his extended injury layoff to capture back-to-back wins over TJ Dillashaw and Urijah Faber. Garbrandt (10-0), meanwhile, slugged his way to a division title shot by planishing Takeya Mizugaki.
And not everyone is happy about it.
