Ronda Rousey will make her much-anticipated return to the cage on Dec. 30, 2016 when she faces current women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes in the main event of UFC 207 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

And “Rowdy” is already feeling the love, at least from oddsmakers, as she has been pegged as a 3-1 favorite over “Lioness.” According to famed oddsmaker Joey Odessa’s comments to MMA Junkie, it should come as no surprise that the odds favor the former champion, though he expected her to be an even bigger favorite.

“Ronda Rousey is just over a 3-1 favorite (-320) in her recently announced matchup against current UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes. The truth is Rousey should be an even bigger favorite.”

Perhaps now Tyron Woodley won’t feel too bad after he too, was pegged as the underdog in his first-ever title defense against challenger Stephen Thompson, which is set to go down on Nov. 12, 2016 at UFC 205 in New York City.

Rousey hasn’t seen the inside of the Octagon since getting starched by Holly Holm at UFC 193 a year ago in Australia. The time away seems to have done her some good, though, as UFC president Dana White says Ronda is getting “nasty” again ahead of her return to action.

But, if she doesn’t bring her “A” game, she could be in a lot of trouble according to this former champion, which means if anyone’s betting on Nunes to retain her title, they could be in for a colossal payday themselves.
