Check out the fight card and bout order for UFC 220: Miocic vs. Ngannou, which takes place on Saturday, January 20th in Boston, Massachusetts.
The UFC’s first pay-per-view of 2018 will feature a pair of title fights on the line at the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. In the main event, heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic takes on Francis Ngannou in what is a highly-anticipated showdown between two ferocious finishers. If Miocic wins, he’ll break the all-time record for most consecutive UFC heavyweight title defenses, with a whopping three. That’s how historically difficult it’s been to stay atop the heavyweight throne.
Light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier returns to action following his loss-turned-no contest vs. Jon Jones. Challenging DC this time around is Volkan Oezdemir, who has ascended to the top of the LHW heap with just three wins inside the Octagon, and two straight knockouts in under a minute.
As for the rest of the main card, featherweights Shane Burgos and Calvin Kattar do battle in a likely Fight of the Night contender, Francimar Barroso faces Gian Villante in the light heavyweight division, and the PPV opens up with a great bantamweight contest between Thomas Almeida and Rob Font.
