UFC 220 had two big title fights and a few rather large salaries attached to them.
With a heavyweight and light heavyweight title fight on top at UFC 220, you knew that there would be some higher-than-usual disclosed salaries for the event. And considering that Stipe Miocic had been holding out for more money, along with the UFC pushing Francis Ngannou to the moon, that definitely was the case.
The heayweight champ made a cool 600k in his title defense, more than Ngannou (500k) and light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier (500k as well). 205-pound challenger Volkan Oezdemir made 350k, while only one other fighter on the card made six figures – Gian Villante, at an even 100k.
