UFC 223 — which is set to blow the roof off Barclays Arena in Brooklyn, New York on April 7, 2018 — will feature a Lightweight title fight between current champion Tony Ferguson and undefeated (25-0) phenom Khabib Nurmagomedov.
The co-main event, though, is rather tasty as Rose Namajunas will defend her women’s Strawweight title against the very person she took it from back at UFC 217 last November, Joanna Jedrzejczyk.
Joanna didn’t endear herself to fans after the loss, as the former champion offered up one excuse after another for the defeat, which didn’t seem to bother “Thug Rose” too much since she is confident she can do it again.
But, a determined Joanna is hungry for revenge and wants to prove once and for all the the division belongs to her after sitting atop of the weight class for so long.
