Check out the second episode of Embedded for UFC 225.
UFC 225 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the second episode for this weekend’s big show in the Windy City, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start things off with Robert Whittaker talking about how much he’s eating. Then he’s in his hotel room with his four-month-old baby. Aww. Whittaker’s wife comes and takes the baby away as he talks about knowing the fight is looming.
We get our first look at Tai Tuivasa, Him and his team can’t figure out why a beach doesn’t have waves until they’re informed that it’s a lake. Yeah. His grumpy coach is amusing though. He discusses his fight with Andrei Arlovski, and jokes around some more.
Colby Covington is on his way to New York to promote the fight with his dad. He’s actually humble here, for a second.
Jason Parillo, Rafael dos Anjos’ coach, discusses the “mindfucking” that Colby is attempting and apparently failing at. He calls RDA a nerd while training, and Dos Anjos says “have you ever seen a favela nerd?” He’s not wrong.
Yoel Romero is in NYC. He talks about maintaining his elite athleticism in his 40’s, saying he doesn’t going out much. He’s gonna eat five or six times today. He then guests on UFC Unfiltered. His English is really improving.
And that’s it! UFC 225 goes down this Saturday in Chi-Town.
