Check out the fighter salaries for UFC 227: Dillashaw vs. Garbrandt 2.
The full list of fighter salaries is out for UFC 227, which just took place in Los Angeles, California this past Saturday. Despite an initial report that said both Demetrious Johnson and TJ Dillashaw had topped the payroll at $380,000 flat (no win bonus), the dethroned flyweight champ was the only one at $380,000, whereas Dillashaw was below him at $350,000.
Cody Garbrandt pocketed $200,000, while new flyweight king Henry Cejudo was listed at $100,000 without a win bonus. Now that he’s the champ, expect a considerable bump in pay for him for as long as he has the belt.
This was a card largely bereft of ranked fighters, familiar big-named veterans, and there was only one fight contested above the featherweight division, so the payouts were not particularly high. Thiago Santos ($48k/$48k for $96,000) and Cub Swanson ($90,000) were the next highest earners, while Pedro Munhoz topped the prelim lineup at $84,000.
As usual, these figures do not represent a fighter’s total earnings, as things such as sponsorship incomes, PPV points, and discretionary bonuses are not publicly disclosed.
