Check out the fourth episode of Embedded for UFC 227.
UFC 227 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fourth episode for this weekend’s big show in California, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
Cub Swanson and T.J. Dillashaw go over to Musclepharm in Burbank and hit up a cryochamber. Then they shoot some hoops before doing some sparring. Duane Ludwig talks about programming and reflexes. Over in LA, Demetrious Johnson and Henry Cejudo run into each other in a hallway and exchange pleasantries with their respective teams. It was a bit awkward.
Cejudo walks into the photoshoot area where Cody Garbrandt is already doing his thing. They get a pic together and Cody talks about what a fan of Cejudo he is, being a wrestler himself.
Kevin Holland makes his first appearance in the series, describing how he found out about getting the fight. As him and his team walk around, he talks about not being intimidated by opponent Thiago Santos and wanting to put a show on for the fans. Santos does his photoshoot and says he will dominate the fight.
Open workouts time. DJ’s up first. He says he wants 20 title defenses as Cris Cyborg makes a cameo. Grabrandt talks and says he’s gonna KO Dillashaw in the first round. Cejudo embraces the latinos in the crowd. He also shows everyone his abs. Dillashaw does his workout and it’s pretty uneventful.
And that’s it! UFC 227 goes down tomorrow in Los Angeles.
