Check out the first episode of Embedded for UFC 228.
UFC 228 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the first episode for this weekend’s big show in the Dallas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
Things start off near where the event’s gonna go down – Houston. Flyweight title challenger Valentina Shevchenko is in the Lone Star State early to adapt to fighting in hot weather. She talks about her happiness with the UFC opening up the 125-pound division, since this is her natural weight class.
Over in Colorado, champ Nicco Montano is preparing for her first title defense. Her coach discusses what she’s trying to accomplish with her training.
In Vegas, welterweight title challenger Darren Till talks about how good champion Tyron Woodley is, but he believes he’s better. Back in Houston, avid gun enthusiast Shevchenko is at a firearms range. Back in Colorado, Montano is at a King of the Cage event to support her teammates. Back in Houston (we’re really jumping around here), Shevchenko is up too early for her Dallas flight.
Now we’re off the St. Louis, where Woodley is waking up his kids. He takes a bunch of supplement pills at once, which is crazy. How in the hell can he swallow that many pills at the same time? It didn’t go as well for him as he had hoped, which is kind of funny.
Back in Vegas, Till’s nutritionist talks about weight cutting never going away. Till says that getting a personal chef will change your life.
And that’s it! UFC 228 goes down in the American Airlines Center in Dallas on Saturday night.
