Check out the second episode of Embedded for UFC 235.
UFC 235 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the second episode for this weekend’s big show in Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
Things start off with UFC welterweight title challenger Kamaru Usman doing media in NYC. He discusses trying to make Tyron Woodley actually fight him. He gets FaceTimed by Khabib Nurmagomedov as well.
Anthony Smith does some sightseeing in New York, including seeing the Statue of Liberty. Usman is on UFC Unfiltered, saying he’s going to test Woodley’s heart. Smith joins the show and talks about being the underdog. He doesn’t think Jon Jones is taking him seriously.
Tyron Woodley and Ben Askren talking about being long-term training partners. Askren talks about the move from ONE to the UFC, saying he didn’t really play any part in it and was just told that it might happen, and then it did. Woodley thinks Usman talk too much, and tells the media that at a luncheon.
We move over to Jones now, who is training. He is baffled by Smith’s statement in the last episode about Jones being the better martial artist, but him being the better fighter. Jones thinks “it makes absolutely no sense”. He thinks Smith is full of BS. He then goes for a hike up in the Sandia Mountains outside of Albuquerque. He sees some deer, and talks about setting up to be the greatest fighter in MMA history.
And that’s it! UFC 235 goes down in Vegas on Saturday night.
