Check out the sixth episode of Embedded for UFC 236.
UFC 236 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the sixth and final episode for this weekend’s big show in Atlanta, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
Henry Cejudo is in Kelvin Gastelum’s room, and is impressed with his confidence. His friend points out that he’s only 27, but has six years of UFC experience under his belt. That really helps with his maturity.
It’s fighter meeting time the night before the weigh-ins. Gastelum talks with Wilson Reis. Everyone else is getting prepared. Then we’re up. Israel Adesanya is 183. Gastelum is 184. The middleweight title fight is set. Max Holloway is 155. Dustin Poirier is 154.5. He says he’s going to shock the world.
Back in his hotel room, Holloway’s son is gettin’ down to some music. He walks out of his room and says hi to Andre Pederneiras. Eryk Anders takes a pic of Holloway with his kids.
Ceremonial weigh-in time. It’s all respect from everyone involved in the top three fights. But there’s some intensity there. Let’s go!
UFC 236 goes down in a few short hours in Atlanta.
