Check out the midweek betting odds for Saturday’s UFC 237 event, where Jessica Andrade is favored over strawweight champ Rose Namajunas.
UFC 237 kicks off this Saturday from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Bloody Elbow has the betting odds.
The evening will be capped off with a strawweight title fight between the 8-3 champ, Rose Namajunas, and her 19-6 adversary, Jessica Andrade. Having made good as the betting favorite in back-to-back bouts, the challenger Andrade is favored here. She can be scooped up with a moneyline of -125. As for the UFC’s 115-pound queen, Thug Rose opened up as a betting underdog in her previous two fights with Joanna Jedrzejczyk, so opening up here with a plus line is nothing new. Namajunas is only available at underdog odds, as large as +110.
In the co-main event, the company’s #10 ranked middleweight, Jared Cannonier, saddles up against former middleweight champ Anderson Silva. With a betting line of -150, the 11-4 Cannonier is favored over the 34-9-1 active legend. As for Silva, the underdog realm is becoming commonplace. The middleweight mainstay clocks in with an underdog mark of +130.
Featherweight legend Jose Aldo is looking to make it three straight when he takes on the the #4 ranked 145-pounder, Alex Volkanovski. The 28-4 former champ successfully pulled through as the betting favorite in his previous two bouts, and finds himself in the favored role once again. Aldo can be found with a moneyline around -135. Volkanovski hit as an underdog in his last fight against Chad Mendes, and will be looking to repeat against Aldo with a plus line of +115.
