Check out the first episode of Embedded for UFC 238.
UFC 238 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the first episode for this weekend’s big show in Chicago, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start off in Scottsdale, AZ, where Henry Cejudo is getting in a workout. It’s his last practice before he goes to Chicago. Across the country in New Jersey, opponent Marlon Moraes is doing his own last training session. Teammate Frankie Edgar talks about Moraes and Cejudo, calling Cejudo a “little bit of a big mouth”. Eddie Alvarez is there too.
We’re in Chicago now. Her coach talks about Valentina Shevchenko’s preparation for her title defense all over the place. She talks about training all the time. At Xtreme Couture, Jessica Eye is full of emotions about her title fight. Gray Maynard is talking to her. Her team believes the pressure is off due to her underdog status. Francis Ngannou discusses the fight too.
Back to Cejudo, who does some cryotherapy. Then we’re back to Moraes’ at his house, where he’s packing. His kid tries to climb into his suitcase. He puts his boy to bed, and we’re done for this part.
UFC 238 goes down in the Windy City this Saturday night.
