UFC 239 has arrived! Polarizing light heavyweight champ Jon Jones is back to headline tonight’s event when he meets lethal challenger Thiago Santos. Since his last suspension, Jones has been getting back to working on his inside-the-Octagon legacy. After defeating Alexander Gustafsson in their rematch and Anthony Smith in his last fight, Jones is well on his way to re-cleaning out the division. Since moving up to light heavyweight, Santos has destroyed his opposition en route to the title. The question will be whether or not Santos can shock Jones and catch him slipping?
In the co-main event, UFC woman’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes is chasing history herself when she looks to claim the name of challenger Holly Holm. Having already defeated the likes of Ronda Rousey, Cris Cyborg, Miesha Tate, and Valentina Shevchenko twice — a win over Holm would add to an already impressive resume and cement herself as a G.O.A.T.
