UFC 239 is currently underway in Las Vegas, but we already know what the official payroll is for all 24 competitors on Saturday evening’s card.
Per the Nevada Athletic Commission, light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is the only one with a base purse of $500,000. No win bonus is written down for him or for challenger Thiago Santos, whose official purse is listed at $350,000. As for the co-main event, women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes’ salary is listed at $300,000, but she can tack on $200,000 more if she vanquishes Holly Holm, whose purse is $300,000 with no win bonus.
In total, there are nine fighters who will clear six-figures without needing a win bonus, with Gilbert Melendez ($200,000) as the only one who’s not part of the main card.
