UFC middleweight Derek Brunson is angling for a fight with Kelvin Gastelum.
Fresh off his unanimous decision win over Ian Heinisch at UFC 241, top-ten ranked middleweight Derek Brunson has called out top-five contender Kelvin Gastelum.
Brunson, who is riding a two-fight win streak, called out Gastelum via Twitter.

“Where @KelvinGastelum fine a** at (Derrick Lewis voice) . #UFC245 Dec Vegas ??@danawhite @Mickmaynard2,” Brunson posted on Twitter yesterday.
While Brunson may be interested in a middleweight showdown with Gastelum, former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till is currently teased to fight The Ultimate Fighter 17 winner at the upcoming UFC 244 pay-per-view in Madison Square Garden, New York.
Gastelum, 27, is still recovering from his Fight of the Night epic with Israel Adesanya at UFC 236, where the Kings MMA product went to war with ‘The Last Stylebender’ for five rounds in a co-headlining bout at Georgia’s State Farm Arena. Gastelum dropped a unanimous decision and lost out on a title shot opportunity to fight reigning middleweight king Robert Whittaker. Adesanya, the newly-crowned interim middleweight champion, is expected to take on Whittaker in a headlining title unification bout at UFC 243 on Oct. 6.
