Check out the midweek betting odds for Saturday’s UFC 243 event, where Israel Adesanya and Robert Whittaker are both favored in the main event.

The world’s premiere mixed martial arts league is headed back down under for UFC 243 to determine an undisputed middleweight champion. Bloody Elbow is on hand with the betting lines.

The marquee matchup for the evening will pit the UFC’s middleweight king, Robert Whittaker, against the surging interim champ, Israel Adesanya. At first, Whittaker opened up with a favored line of -150, with Adesanya starting out his betting life as a +120 underdog. Since then, the betting public bit on the plus line for Adesanya, sending his mark into the favored realm. He is now an option at -115. As for Whittaker, the wagers on his opponent dropped his moneyline to a less favored landing of -105.

The over/under for this clash of middleweight elites has been set at 3.5 rounds. Both exotic bets own minus lines here. The bet-setters listed the ‘over’ at -120, with the ‘under’ slightly less favored at -110.

The bookies had projected that the UFC 243 main event would reach the scorecards when they labeled ‘Fight goes to decision’ with a moneyline of -140 — and the prop ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ with a dog tag of +100. The gamblers made a different read, finding value in this matchup ending early. Their action caused a flip in the lines, sending the inside the distance prop to a solid favored slot of -150, and driving the going to a decision bet to the underdog realm at +120.

Another line flip occurred for the UFC 243 co-main event. The promotion’s #6 ranked lightweight Al Iaquinta opened up as -130 betting favorite, with a -110 comeback on the #15 ranked Dan Hooker. The bulk of the betting love has been shown to Hooker, sending his line down to -185, and pushing Iaquinta into an underdog role at +160.
