Check out the fourth episode of Embedded for UFC 243.
UFC 243 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fourth episode for this weekend’s big stadium show in Melbourne, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We’re at the fighter hotel with the champ, Robert Whittaker. He craves chocolate when he’s cutting weight. They head over to Marvel Stadium with his face on the side of it. Jake Matthews makes a cameo. He takes some photos and speaks to some media members. He’s keeping it light as usual. And then makes a pretty funny joke that I won’t repeat here. You can watch it if you’re interested.
We move over to Dan Hooker, who is getting a workout in. He says a lifetime of work and dedication has got him here. He fights for his family.
Israel Adesanya heads down to Hosier Lane to check out the street art and soak in the adulation of many fans. Everyone jumps around for the pic, but he tells everyone to back away from the fancy Audi he showed up in, since it’s not his car and he doesn’t have insurance. It’s all pretty fun though. A street artist shows off work he did for Adesanya, who is extremely appreciative.
He heads into Culture Kings. A fan tries out a question mark kick on him, which isn’t half bad. It’s the first time they’ve ever shut down a store for him to shop.
Over at Legends MMA, Al Iaquinta shows up for a workout. Ray Longo and Matt Serra get some camera time. As usual, they bust each other’s chops a bit. Ragin’ Al is just happy that they’re there.
And that’s it! UFC 243 goes down on Saturday in Melbourne.
