We are a little over one week away from the highly-anticipated Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Middleweight title unification match between division champion, Robert Whittaker, and interim title holder, Israel Adesanya.
Indeed, UFC 243 is set to go down from inside Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia on Sat., Oct. 5, 2019, which will finally answer who the best 185-pounder in the world really is as “The Reaper” looks to hand “The Last Stylebender” his first pro loss.
For Adesanya, taking out Whittaker will give him his biggest win to date after winning the interim 185-pound strap after an epic war against Kelvin Gastelum earlier this year at UFC 236.
Before the two men collide in what could prove to be an instant classic, UFC has unveiled a couple promo videos to get you pumped — and perhaps convince you to subscribe to ESPN+ — prior to their collision.
