Check out the fifth episode of Embedded for UFC 243.
UFC 243 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fifth episode for this weekend’s big stadium show in Melbourne, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start out with Tai Tuivasa, who is in a much better mood than the last time they talked to him. He accuses his team of wearing all his clothes. He shows off his teammate Justin Tafa’s personalized t-shirt.
Robert Whittaker arrives at Marvel Stadium and talks superheroes before doing some media with Chael Sonnen. He says he didn’t realize until he was about number six in the world that he could take it the whole way. As soon as the media thing ends, he goes right back to talking about superheroes. Al Iaquinta is next up on ESPN, and has respect for opponent Dan Hooker.
Open workouts time. Dan Hooker up first, and he has some crowd support. Adesanya is next. Adesanya says he’s called everything he’s done so far, and he’s gonna do it one more time. Adesanya greets his parents backstage. Tuivasa is up next. He thanks Australia. Iaquinta gets a bit of screen time. Finally, it’s Whittaker.
And that’s it! UFC 243 goes down tomorrow night in Melbourne.
