Check out the fifth episode of Embedded for UFC 245.
UFC 245 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fifth episode for this weekend’s big show in Sin City, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start at the PI with Kamaru Usman coming in. We hear from Francis Ngannou, who is there for his friend. Usman’s coaches talk about the light work they’re doing close to the fight.
Max Holloway gets a haircut. But, the curse! Look good, feel good, fight good. That’s Holloway’s motto. Or one of them, anyway. Back at the PI, they show Urijah Faber’s Hall of Fame plaque before we listen to him motivate himself for his fight with Petr Yan.
Alexander Volkanovski takes his team and a photographer out to the Red Rock Canyon to get some unique fighter pictures. Pretty sweet backdrop.
Ultimate Media Day now. Faber tells some fighters that his kid won’t call him dada anymore, only Urijah. Chael Sonnen greets Max Holloway. Colby Covington makes an entrance. Amanda Nunes and Germaine de Randamie are very respectful facing off. Holloway doesn’t think the five rounds is an advantage just because he’s done it more than his opponent. Volkanovski says he’s earned this opportunity, and it’s his time. Covington runs his mouth, as expected. Usman says he’s running his mouth because he’s scared.
And that’s it! UFC 245 goes down tomorrow night in the T-Mobile Arena.
