After all was said and done at the UFC 245 pay-per-view (PPV) event — which went down on Sat., Dec. 14, 2019 inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada — there was plenty of “Thrill and Agony” to go around.

Sharing in the obvious joy was Amanda Nunes, who successfully defended her women’s Bantamweight title with a dominant unanimous decision win over Germaine de Randamie (recap). And while “Iron Lady” was obviously left in agony, she took the time to call her mom on the phone while in the Octagon to inform her she had lost.

Also, Alex Volkanovski was on cloud nine after dethroning Max Holloway from the top of the Featherweight mountain. Despite the agonizing loss, “Blessed” took the loss with sheer class.

And of course, Kamaru Usman was basking in the glory after knocking out bitter river, Colby Covington, in the fifth and final round after breaking his jaw and finishing him via strikes (highlights). As for “Chaos,” he was left with no choice but to pick up the pieces and start for scratch as he was seen leaving the arena covering his head with his shirt.
