Check out the fifth episode of Embedded for UFC 246.
UFC 246 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fifth episode for this weekend’s big show in Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start off at the Performance Institute with Donald Cerrone. He said one of the media members he did an interview with pissed him off. He gets a massage with Forest Griffin standing by. Griffin never liked seeing a guy before he had to fight him.
Alexa Grasso’s coach talks about her (now cancelled) fight with Claudia Gadelha. Grasso missed weight badly, if you missed the news today. Conor McGregor wants to know where his gym DJ is. Yes, he has a gym DJ. Dillon Danis talks. No one cares. Conor is happy about not having to cut weight.
It’s Ultimate Media Day. Anthony Pettis talks about opponent Diego Ferreira. They face off respectfully. Holly Holm discusses her rematch with Raquel Pennington, five years later. They respectfully face off as well. Cowboy shows up with his crew on bikes. He gives McGregor his props for backing up his words and growing the sport. He doesn’t need bad blood to fight someone.
McGregor shows up with security. He enjoys the media obligations. He doesn’t care whether he fights for a lightweight or welterweight title, or even the BMF belt. He just wants rounds and activity.
And that’s it! UFC 246 goes down tomorrow night in Vegas.
