Check out the final betting odds for UFC 248, where middleweight champ Israel Adesanya is strongly favored over Yoel Romero in the main event.

It’s fight day for UFC 248 and both title fights are on! The top of the billing will see current middleweight champ, Israel Adesanya, in his first title defense against ferocious title challenger Yoel Romero. In the co-main event, the promotion’s strawweight queen, Weili Zhang, is up for her first defense when she takes on the former champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk. Bloody Elbow is here with the final betting odds.

The midweek betting odds writeup, saw Adesanya favored by the oddsmakers with Romero left in the underdog slot. Not much has really changed with their respective moneylines since then. Adesanya remains strongly favored, hovering around -265, with Romero still sitting with the largest underdog line of his career at +245.

The over/under for this 25-minute title fight has been set at 3.5 rounds. The ‘Over’ prop holds the favored role, clocking in at -127. The ‘Under’ is an underdog option at +112. The oddsmakers are projecting this middleweight championship matchup to end early. The exotic bet ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ can be acquired at a favored moneyline of -150, with a +120 comeback on ‘Fight goes to decision.’ For the record, Adesanya has never been finished in an MMA fight, let alone suffered a loss. Romero has only been stopped once in his career, and that was at the hands of Rafael Cavalcante in Strikeforce way back in 2011.

If Romero is going to win, it’s likely going to happen by way of finish. The prop bet ‘Romero wins inside distance’ holds an underdog value of +350, which yields a better return than Romero straight up. Former champ Robert Whittaker survived 10-rounds with Romero, but fell to Adesanya in just two. For those that believe the defending champ will produce another finish, ‘Adesanya wins inside distance’ is on deck at +160.

For the gamblers picking the champ to win, but believe Romero is tough enough to not get finished — then ‘Adesanya wins by decision’ at +160 is a better value than Adesanya straight up. For anyone taking Romero on the scorecards, ‘Romero wins by decision’ comes with a massive underdog tag of +890.

For the UFC 248 co-main event, the bookies foresee Weili Zhang retaining her strawweight belt. Weili can be picked up at a favored tick of -185, with the former champion, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, underdogging at +170. The over/under for this matchup has been set at 4.5 rounds. The ‘Over’ is favored here at -127, with a +112 comeback on the ‘Under.’ According to the odds, whether or not this title fight ends early is up in the air. Both sides of that prop bet possess minus lines. Bettors can lay the price on ‘Fight goes to decision’ at a cost of -125, or on ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ for -105.
