Check out the midweek betting odds for Saturday’s UFC 249 card, where Tony Ferguson is favored over Justin Gaethje to win the vacant interim lightweight title in the main event.

Pretty much the entire planet has been shut down now for some time due to the wide-spread coronavirus outbreak, but nonetheless UFC 249 is set to take place this Saturday (May 9th) at the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida. Two titles will be up for grabs in the main and co-main events, the bantamweight belt and the vacant interim lightweight strap. Bloody Elbow has returned to provide the betting lines for these bouts and the rest of this fire card!

The top of the billing will see former interim lightweight champ, Tony Ferguson, scrapping it out with ever-exciting, Justin Gaethje. The oddsmakers are projecting Ferguson to walk away as an interim champion once again. His moneyline is currently hovering around the -185 mark, which leaves Gaethje in the underdog slot. “The Highlight” clocks in with a dog tag of +160.

Considering that both of these elite lightweights are known for catching bodies, it’s no surprise to see the bookies heavily favoring this fight to finish early. The prop bet ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ comes at a hefty cost of -460. Going back the other way, the ‘Fight goes to decision’ option can be scooped up for a value of +335.

In the UFC 249 co-main event, bantamweight champ Henry Cejudo is set to defend his crown against a returning former king in Dominick Cruz. Cejudo is the betting favorite here, and his moneyline can be acquired for about -225. As for the challenger, an injury prone Cruz can be had for an underdog tick of +185.

Unlike the UFC 249 main event, the bet-setters foresee the co-main needing all 25-minutes to determine a winner. Gamblers can lay the price on the exotic bet ‘Fight goes to decision’ for -185, or take the price on ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ for +155.
