Get up to date on the main event of UFC 252 as Stipe Miocic and Daniel Cormier meet for the third time.

What have these two done recently?
It’s only when you go back and look at Stipe Miocic’s record at heavyweight that you realise the length list of names the 37-year-old has beaten in the division. In the lead up to becoming champion Miocic picked up finishes over Mark Hunt and Andrei Arlovski, then went on to defend his title against former champions such as Junior Dos Santos and Alistair Overeem. Miocic’s trilogy fight with Cormier will give him the chance to avenge his only loss since 2014, and make a strong argument that he is the greatest heavyweight ever.
This will only be Daniel Cormier’s fourth fight at heavyweight since moving up from 205-pounds in 2018. During his time as champion at light heavyweight, Cormier defeated the likes of Alexander Gustafsson and Volkan Oezdemir before vacating his title. With ‘DC’ stating this fight will be the swan song of his career, going out with by winning his title back against Miocic will be a fairytale ending for Cormier.
Why should you care?
Agree or not, like Dana White said the winner of this fight could easily be considered as the best heavyweight of all time.
