Check out the first episode of Embedded for UFC 253.
UFC 253 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the first episode for this weekend’s big show on Fight Island, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start off at the athlete hotel in Vegas, where the fighters and staff are preparing to fly to Abu Dhabi. We see and hear from a few fighters about the trip and what they expect from it. Stephan Bonnar is with Diego Sanchez, doing his usual weird stuff before the flight. Diego doesn’t care if people are looking at him.
Brandon Royval wants 50 grand. Kai Kara-France is coming in looking to be violent, and he’s happy that he’s fighting with his teammates. Shane Young and Brad Riddell echo the sentiments.
Dominick Reyes and Sijara Eubanks are surprised and impressed by the plush plane. Hakeen Dawodu has never been to that side of the world, and he’s excited. Reyes likes the food. Adesanya says the flight was great, and the time flew by. Some more goofing around.
Arrival time. Fighters have to train in their rooms today because they’re in quarantine. Adesanya says to look forward to excitement and violence.
And that’s it! UFC 253 goes down on Fight Island on Sunday morning (Saturday night in North America).
