Tonight, the UFC showcases a card featuring a title fight for the UFC Middleweight Championship. In that featured bout we have Adesanya and Costa going at it in the main event of the UFC 253 PPV event, which is being broadcast from the #UFCFIGHTISLAND Fight Center off Dubai, United Arab Emeritus.
Our defending champion: Israel ‘The Last Stylebender’ Adesanya, enters the octagon with an undefeated 19-0 record. The 31-year old Nigerian Champion fighting out of New Zealand has been pitted up against the contender: Paulo ‘The Eraser’ Costa. Our challenger, holding an undefeated 13-0 fight record, enters the octagon a slight underdog. The 29-year old Brazilian brawler has a 3” height and 8” reach deficit going against his efforts to defeat Adesanya tonight.
Also on the card, a highly-anticipated light heavyweight scrap for our co-main event; it’s a battle for the UFC Vacant Light Heavyweight Championship between Dominick ‘The Devastator’ Reyes, who enters the octagon a moderate favorite, with a 12-1 record at 30 years of age, taking on fight veteran Jan Blachowicz with his 26-8 record at 37 years of age. As if that’s not enough, we also have an exciting flyweight tilt between Kai ‘Don’t Blink’ Kara-France and Brandon ‘Raw Dog’ Royval – which will have been preceded by a fully-packed undercard… what a fun night of fights we have to share with you!
