Check out the fifth episode of Embedded for UFC 255.

UFC 255 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fifth episode for this weekend’s big show in UFC Apex, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.

Things start off in Alex Perez’s room. He’s cutting weight while having an animated conversation with his team. Marlon Vera talks about Perez being his best friend. Perez is about to be a dad, and he feels good, but it’s more responsibility.

Jennifer Maia tells a story about her driver and her opponent’s driver betting one dollar on their fight. When Maia won, her driver gave her the dollar. Her coach says her camp was great, no injuries. And that she’ll win the fight any way she can.

Over to the PI, with Brandon Royval. He looks for bonuses more than wins. His favorite fighters are Nick Diaz, Anderson Silva, and B.J. Penn. He didn’t expect to turn pro and be in this spot, but he is.

Valentina Shevchenko does a video interview with Jon Anik and Daniel Cormier. She says her sister Antonina has made her so much better. She also thinks flyweight is the best women’s division.

Deiveson Figueiredo says he’s there to revive the men’s flyweight division. He heads over to Apex for a photoshoot. He made a promise to his grandfather to bring the belt home, and he did. He thinks he’s a more complete fighter than Perez, and that he’s going to submit him. In the first round. He then heads out to look at the Octagon, which manager Wallid Ismail calls the “terror zone”.

And that’s it! UFC 255 goes down tomorrow in in Vegas.
