Check out the third episode of Embedded for UFC 258.

UFC 258 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the third episode for this weekend’s big show in Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.

We start off with Kamaru Usman, who is heading out of Denver on his way to Vegas. He’s with Justin Gaethje and Jorge Santiago. He’s going to quarantine mostly so he doesn’t jeopradize the event.

Back in Colorado, Ian Heinisch and his wife go fishing. He hopes to be a lot more active in 2021 and move up into contendership.

Kelvin Gastelum is packing to leave for Vegas. He’s happy not to be flying all the way to Abu Dhabi this time. He’s taking a Kobe Bryant jersey, and talks about meeting him. He arrives in Vegas, and promptly drops all of his stuff accidentally while walking into the hotel.

At the UFC PI, Usman is getting a massage and discussing the parallels between his career and Rashad Evans’ career. TUF, winning title, leaving camp due to a rival, and so on. He better hope that trend doesn’t continue.

Gilbert Burns arrives in Sin City. He got scared that he’d lose his shot when he got COVID last time. Alexa Grasso arrives too, from Guadalajara. She thinks her fight with Maycee Barber will be a slugfest. Finally, Barber shows up. She had to pee like 12 times on the plane. She’s happy with her recovery from injury. They head straight to Whole Foods.

And that’s it! UFC 258 goes down Saturday night in UFC Apex.
