Check out the fifth episode of Embedded for UFC 258.

UFC 258 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the fifth episode for this weekend’s big show in Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.

We start off at the UFC Performance Institute with Kelvin Gastelum. He talks about the music he likes, then does a light workout. His wrestling coach talks him up. Maycee Barber is there too and they trade some compliments.

Things move over to Ian Heinisch’s room. He discusses getting Covid and how 2020 didn’t go as expected at all. The fear of losing motivates him. He talks about his drug addiction after he got out of prison, and how religion helped him find his way.

Gilbert Burns’ coaches sing his praises. Former UFC fighter Vagner Rocha is his BJJ coach. The next day, Kamaru Usman is doing some media. He’s not concerned about his legacy, he’s just taking it one fight at a time.

Gastelum is playing video games in his room. He does some media as well, and discussed his mental state in his last two fights (which were losses).

Usman is watching a preview of a Chronicles episode about him and his previously incarcerated father, which gets him emotional. He’s just trying to do his family name proud.

And that’s it! UFC 258 goes down in a few short hours in Vegas.
