Check out the sixth and final episode of Embedded for UFC 259.

UFC 259 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the sixth and final episode for this weekend’s huge show in Vegas, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.

Jan Blachowicz is all dressed up on the way to the press conference. He talks about what he’s gonna eat right after he weighs in. Israel Adesanya wants to change the game and face the biggest challenges. Blachowicz acknowledges that Izzy could knock him out. Megan Anderson says she’s the first true featherweight that Amanda Nunes has faced. Petr Yan says he has no conflict with Aljamain Sterling, he just wants to rip his head off.

Adesanya does a workout and says that visualization is very important to him.

Back at the fighter hotel, Blachowicz’s wife says that cutting weight isn’t usually a problem, and that Jan is in a very good mood. He always seems to be. Izzy’s team bangs on his door “like the cops” to wake him up.

Jon Anik sets the tone for the event ahead of the weigh-ins. Nunes is 145 on the dot. Aljamain Sterling is 134.5. Blachowicz is 205. Adesanya is 200.5. As expected, he’s nowhere near the weight class limit. Yan is 135. Anderson is 144.5.

Nunes is massaging her knee after the weigh-ins. Face-offs time. Yan and Sterling talk a bit. Nunes and Anderson shake hands and are respectful. Blachowicz and Adesanya are silent but intense.

As AlJo would say, LET’S GO! UFC 259 is going down in a few hours.
