What have these two done recently?

Anderson: W – Norma Dumont Viana (TKO) | W – Zarah Fairn Dos Santos (SUB) | L – Felicia Spencer (SUB)
How did these two get here?
Amanda Nunes is arguably the most dominant champion currently in the UFC. ‘The Lioness’ hasn’t looked remotely close to losing her title(s) since a split decision win over Valentina Shevchenko in 2017. Unbeaten since 2014, Nunes has taken out the best fighters at 135 and 145-pounds, such as Cris Cyborg, Holly Holm and Germaine De Randamie. Nunes most recently defended her featherweight title against Felicia Spencer last June.
Four years ago, Megan Anderson was signed to the UFC and scheduled to fight for the featherweight title in her debut. That never came around, but she will now hope to secure UFC gold against Nunes. It’s unsurprising Anderson is an astronomical underdog, given she has gone 3-2 during her current stint in the promotion. Anderson has won her last two fights both by first-round stoppage.
Why should you care?
If Anderson can pull off the impossible, you won’t want to miss it.
