Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) next pay-per-view (PPV) offering is one of the most stacked mixed martial arts (MMA) events in recent memory featuring not one, not two but three world title fights.
UFC 259 is set to go down on March 6 inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada, which will be headlined by a Light Heavyweight title fight which will see current UFC Middleweight champion, Israel Adesanya, move up a weight class to challenge 205-pound champion, Jan Blachowicz.
In the co-headlining act, current “champ-champ” Amanda Nunes will defend her women’s Featherweight title against Megan Anderson, while Petr Yan will defend his Bantamweight title against Aljamain Sterling to round out the trio of title fights.
In further main card action, former title contender Thiago Santos will face Aleksandar Rakic, while Islam Makhachev will face Drew Dober. The card is so stacked that former UFC Bantamweight champion Dominick Cruz has been relegated to the “Prelims” where he will face Casey Kenney.
