Check out the second episode of Embedded for UFC 264.
UFC 264 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs has issued the second episode for this weekend’s huge show in Arizona, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
We start off at Gilbert Burns’ house in Florida. He’s packing to leave and is happy to be on such a big card. He’s worked very hard to round out his game. He gets a quick haircut.
Down to SC and Ray Thompson’s house. There’s a nice incline in the forest on the property that Stephen Thompson is running up and down. They talk about cardio being so important. He’s ready for all the media and the weight cut. It’s very hot there so he’s having trouble cooling off.
Over to Vegas and Dustin Poirier’s place. He’s video chatting with his kid. They’re going on vacation after the fight. Back to Wonderboy, who shows off some cards and letters he’s received from his students. One just says “punch him in the face”. Good plan. He keeps a lot of his clothes at the gym because he’s there more than home.
Back to Vegas and the PI. Burns is gonna do a little workout. He believed that he got overconfident in his last fight, so this time it’s about patience. His wife runs his social media during fight week. Over to Poirier’s again, where he’s getting a light workout in as well. Mike Brown talks about the process of fight week. He has confidence in every part of Poirier’s game.
And that’s it! UFC 264 goes down this Saturday night in Vegas.
