Check out the midweek betting lines for Saturday’s UFC 266 event, where the long awaited rematch between Robbie Lawler and Nick Diaz can be found at pick’em odds.
UFC 266 is going down this Saturday night (September 25th) from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main event will see Alexander Volkanovski defend his featherweight belt against Brian Ortega, with the co-main event getting Valentina Shevchenko defending her 125-pound strap against Lauren Murphy. Before that, we will be enjoying a special five-round rematch between Robbie Lawler and Nick Diaz. Bloody Elbow is here to provide you with the betting odds for these epic showdowns, plus the moneylines for the remaining UFC 266 matchups.
The oddsmakers are siding with the champ in the main event, with Volkanovski sporting a favored line of -175, and Ortega rocking an underdog value of +145. We’ve yet to see Alexander fail in the Octagon, but Ortega has only ever lost to Max Holloway. This line should absolutely be as tight as it is, if not a little bit closer. The co-main event is barely worth mentioning, since Shevchenko is consistently a massive betting favorite against the field. UFC 266 is no different with Valentina’s straight up moneyline clocking in at a staggering cost of -2000. Murphy’s underdog line is sitting around +920.
Now for the people’s main event. The first time Lawler and Diaz went at it was way back in 2004, when both men were just baby faces and at the beginning of their respective runs to prominence. Back then, Nick was a +200 underdog before shocking the MMA world and knocking out a -260 betting favorite in Lawler. Fast forward to present day (17-years later) and we’ve got some pick’em odds for their rematch. Robbie can only be found with a minus line that ranges from -125 to -110, while Diaz is on deck anywhere from -115 up to +103.
