UFC 267 is almost here, and as usual, Embedded is here as well. The show that gives you an inside look at the marquee contestants on PPVs (even if this isn’t a PPV per se) has issued the fifth episode for this weekend’s huge show on Fight Island, and it serves as a brief introduction to the fighters at the top of the card.
Jan Blachowicz said his life has changed a lot lately, with a belt and a kid. But he loves it. He likes to listen to music he doesn’t understand. Jon Anik talks about how hyped he is for this card.
Weigh-in time. Cory Sandhagen is 135. Jan Blachowicz is 205. Petr Yan is 135. Glover Teixeira is 205. They don’t show Khamzat Chimaev’s struggles on the scale.
They go straight to the ceremonial weigh-ins now. Chimaev and Li Jingliang are testy but Dana keeps them apart. Dan Hooker and Islam Makhachev are next. Respectful. Yan and Sandhagen. Intense but respectful. Finally it’s Blachowicz and Teixeira. Obviously they were cool.
