Tim Gorman was pulled over by Nebraska State Patrol on Sunday evening.
According to WOWT Tim Gorman, 37, was pulled over by Nebraska State Patrol on Sunday evening. Authorities allege that Gorman was found in possession of 121 pounds of marijuana, as well as six pounds of THC concentrate, two vials of steroids, a small amount of cocaine and $14,000 in cash.
Gorman was stopped by a trooper after he was spotted driving on the shoulder of I-80 around 7 p.m. local time. During the traffic stop the trooper “detected clandestine activity” and called in a K-9 unit.
After the K-9 unit detected the presence of narcotics Gorman was arrested and taken to Buffalo County Jail. He has been charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana with intent to deliver and possession of money during a drug violation.
Gorman was a cast member on 2013’s The Ultimate Fighter: Team Rousey vs. Team Tate. After winning his elimination bout to get onto the show, Gorman had to bow out of the competition due to injury. Despite leaving the show Gorman was signed by the UFC in 2014.
After losing two fights in the UFC — to Mitch Gagnon and Thomas Almeida — Gorman left the promotion. Gorman then had one fight with Midwest Cage Championship in 2015. He hasn’t fought since then.
