The UFC has added three fights to the fight card for TUF: China’s finale on top of the previously announced John Hathaway vs. Dong Hyun Kim main event: Shawn Jordan vs. Matt Mitrione, Hatsu Hioki vs. Ivan Menjivar and Yui Chul Nam vs. Kazuki Tokudome. The event takes place at the Cotai Arena in the Venetian Macau on March 1 and will air on UFC Fight Pass.
The news was first broken by Bloody Elbow and later announced by the UFC.
Mitrione last competed at UFC 165 in September when he was submitted by Brendan Schaub in the first round. He’s lost three of his last four and is currently 6-3 in professional MMA. Jordan is also coming off of a loss having been stopped with strikes by Gabriel Gonzaga at UFC 166 in October. Jordan’s MMA record stands at 15-5.
Hioki is currently on a three-fight skid, having last competed at UFC Fight Night 27 in August. where he dropped a unanimous decision to Darren Elkins. His record stands at 26-7-2. Menjivar heads into this bout with a 25-11 record, having most recently competed at UFC 165 in September where he lost by unanimous decision to Wilson Reis.
Nam will be making his UFC debut on this card after establishing his credentials in ROAD FC and other Korean regional organizations. His record stands at 17-4-1. This is the third UFC fight for Tokudome. He last competed at UFC 162 in July where he lost to Norman Parke via decision. His record is 12-4-1.
