Check out the betting odds for Saturday’s UFC Raleigh card, where Curtis Blaydes is favored over Junior Dos Santos in the main event.
The UFC is back for their second event of 2020 with UFC on ESPN+ 24: Blaydes vs. Dos Santos, from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina. The card is headlined by top-5 ranked heavyweights, Curtis Blaydes and Junior dos Santos. Bloody Elbow is here with the betting lines.
The promotion’s #3 ranked heavyweight, Curtis Blaydes, is strongly favored over the #4 ranked, JDS. For a cost of -245, bettors can lay the price on Blaydes, who has only ever lost to Francis N’Gannou (twice). Former UFC champ JDS can be picked up for a sizable underdog tick of +225. The over/under for this 5-round fight has been set at 2.5 rounds. The ‘Under’ has been pegged with a favored line of -157, with a +142 comeback on the ‘Over.’
The oddsmakers do not expect this one to need any judgers to determine a winner. The prop bet ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ is heavily favored with a moneyline of -375. Going back the other way, gamblers can take the price on ‘Fight goes to decision’ at a value of +285. Blaydes is the fighter that is expected to finish the fight. ‘Blaydes wins inside distance’ holds a favored flavor of -125, with ‘Not Blaydes inside distance’ nestled at -105. The bet-setters are projecting Blaydes to manifest a KO stoppage here. The exotic line ‘Blaydes wins by TKO/KO’ is on deck with a favored tag of -120, with ‘Any other result’ also trending at -120. As for the former title holder, ‘Santos wins by TKO/KO’ comes with a sizable underdog moneyline of +320.
The co-main event in Raleigh will see a welterweight tilt between the former lightweight champ, Rafael dos Anjos, and TUF Season 15 winner, Michael Chiesa. As expected, the former title holder is the betting favorite here. RDA can be purchased at a cost of -245. As for Chiesa, his underdog moneyline is hovering around the +225 mark. The over/under for this 170-pound matchup has been set at 2.5 rounds. The ‘Over’ is on the table, favored at -147, with a +132 comeback on the ‘Under.’ The oddsmakers also project that this matchup will go the distance. At a tick of -130, the prop bet ‘Fight goes to decision’ can be picked up, while ‘Fight doesn’t go to decision’ is a slight dog option at +100.
