Check out the betting odds for a potential heavyweight super fight between the UFC’s 205-pound. champ, Jon Jones, and former title challenger Francis Ngannou.

The UFC’s current light heavyweight champ, Jon Jones, recently watched a former opponent in Ovince St. Preux move up and compete in the heavyweight division. Naturally, Jones stated that seeing OSP do that made his eventual move up a division seem that much more real. Well, the UFC’s #2 ranked heavyweight, Francis Ngannou, fired back; inquiring how likely such a move was. And now we have betting odds for a potential heavyweight super-fight between the two!

Online gambling site BetOnline.ag has Jon Jones opening up as a +130 underdog, with Francis Ngannou favored with a moneyline of -150. This fight must happen in 2020 for action.

Jones is the light heavyweight G.O.A.T., but he hasn’t been as dominant as of late. You can discuss your own theories on why that is. His technical prowess is still much more polished than Ngannou in pretty much all facets of MMA, but — hate to say it fellas — size does matter. Jones will be giving up a bit of muscle weight if he steps in the there with Francis. It would be a whole new level of power coming back at Jones that just doesn’t exist at 205-pounds.

Ngannou has now obliterated four-straight opponents in less than three-minutes. We are talking about swiftly toppling talents like Curtis Blaydes, Junior dos Santos, Cain Velasquez, and Jairzinho Rozenstruik. That’s downright terrifying. It’s hard to bet against Jon Jones, but it’s understandable why the odds have opened up the way they have. Let’s just hope this match actually manifests and we get some killer props going into it.
