The UFC’s return to Boston culminated with a fantastic, albeit turbulent, storyline that saw Dominick Cruz reclaim his long lost bantamweight title following three ACL surgeries. However, the event also featured a variety of knockouts and submissions that helped determine a pair of performance bonus winners.

Understandably, the Fight of the Night award was given to the main event competitors, Cruz and Dillashaw, for their high-quality MMA performance over the span of five rounds. The contest was a competitive one and saw the Cruz crowned following 25 thrilling minutes by split decision. It was Cruz’s first fight in over 400 days.

The performance bonuses were awarded to Ed Herman and Luke Sanders for their stoppage wins earlier in the night. Sanders beat Maximo Blano by submission while Herman knocked Tim Boetsch out in the second round.
