See who makes and misses on the scales at the UFC’s second ‘Fight Island’ card.
Tomorrow night the UFC flyweight title is on the line, or at least we think it will be. The last time Deiveson Figueiredo and Joseph Benavidez were scheduled to compete for the vacant belt, Figueiredo lost his title shot on the scales.
That weigh-in fail resulted in a situation that meant only Benavidez was eligible to win the title, which he didn’t do. A clash of heads lead to a TKO win for the Brazilian, meaning no belt was awarded. So now we get to do it all over again.
You can watch the weigh-ins for UFC Fight Island 2: Figueiredo vs. Benavidez 2 below, with video provided by our friends at MMA Fighting.
There will be no ceremonial weigh-ins for this event.
