UFC Fight Night 114, The Morning After: Malignaggi says McGregor “whimpers like a girl when he gets ripped to body”

What you may have missed from last night

Sergio Pettis collected his fourth straight win yesterday; Rashad Evans his fourth straight loss. Seven first-round finishes combined with razor-thin decisions to deliver a fight card high on violence and suspense, but low on general impact. Sergio Pettis may be next in line for his flyweight title shot, but it wasn’t a performance I could bring myself to believe portended success against the great Demetrious Johnson. Niko Price demonstrated that he is a breakout talent at welterweight; he should be facing ranked contenders next.

Meanwhile, Paul Malignaggi was active yesterday responding to Twitter users after leaving Team McGregor August 3rd. He says the non-disclosure form he signed was “null and void” because he never got paid.

The non disclosure is void dipshit I never got paid lol https://t.co/Ux8QCUf4OV

— Paul Malignaggi (@PaulMalignaggi) August 6, 2017

I didn’t get paid, I’m not worried about it though. I paid him with the ass beating he recieved from me on Tuesday lol https://t.co/HnsfUGKMKk

— Paul Malignaggi (@PaulMalignaggi) August 5, 2017

If true, that would seem to be a huge oversight by McGregor and company; the only thing keeping Malignaggi from ‘telling all’ about Irishman’s technique are his ethics. (and the fact that he said he wouldn’t). Those ethics aren’t keeping him from giving “the story straight about stuff” though.

I won’t speak tactics of his, that I wouldn’t do, I still have some ethics I’m not Conor but def will give the story straight about stuff. https://t.co/qjwVMN6n5I

— Paul Malignaggi (@PaulMalignaggi) August 6, 2017

Malignaggi confirms what many thought- his faint praise of McGregor was indeed damning.

Truthfully I was tryin hard 2 not make him look bad but if u listen 2 me b4, the praise is hollow, there wasn’t much substance 2 that praise https://t.co/X88XmfIi19

— Paul Malignaggi (@PaulMalignaggi) August 6, 2017

He promised more insight into their last sparring session, starting with this nugget: “he whimpers like a girl when he gets ripped to the body lol”

Yea but this coming week I’ll actually start to discuss a bit what happened Tuesday, he whimpers like a girl when he gets ripped to body lol https://t.co/lfcuILlubJ

— Paul Malignaggi (@PaulMalignaggi) August 6, 2017

Malignaggi feels he got played… which should be obvious at this point.

When I look back at the experience as a whole, not just sparring but as a whole, yes there was definitely an agenda beyond shadow of a doubt https://t.co/x3IRuFXscO

This stat doesn’t seem right, but it is. Will Pettis the Younger surpass Pettis the Elder? He’ll need a UFC title first, but at only 24, he’s come a long way.

Anthony Pettis wins in the UFC – 7

Oh man. That’s just unfair to Todd Grisham.

I don’t think historical knights did all that much ground work, but they also never fought in a ring so I’m okay with this.

and this is medieval GNP apparently pic.twitter.com/PhqBuNyTtZ
